You should totally colour all your pics 8D Or a lot more of them. It's cool to see your stuff in colour ..tho after peeking at your gallery again for the first time in a while, looks like you've BEEN popping some colours on them XD... I've just been doing mad purges of the deviations cos I forget to check this place a lot xD;
I love the BG and how the charas are positioned with it.
Lol. Yeah, I dunno, I started working more color in about halfway through last year, after taking Drawing II at my uni (where we were forced to work in color). I kinda got more confident in working lineless, using hue and stuff for shape. I'm still not too keen on the highly saturated stuff, but I think I'm decent w/ a more muted palette. And well, the use of backgrounds is just me trying to make prints more sellable - no one likes white-bg prints.
Thanks, though! And haha, those little pops back in are most welcome.
Nice composition with that perspective you have there (fishbowl perspective?) Adds more to the picture than if it were just flat. And wow on the clothes, textures and colors and designs. You may not get the hang of it (yet) but dang it's all great >w<
Lol. I'm not. I was like, burning my eyes out the whole time. lol.
I almost went to CMU for undergrad. It gives merit scholarships, and merit + immigrant-parents-who-own-a-grocery-store-and-pay-low-taxes would be how Rivek got about 2/3 of his ride, lol. Probably he had only like $40k in loans by the time he graduated. His parents paid for the rest.
Dude, that is awesome. 8D *lapses into... surfer-speak for some reason* It's digital... but it still almost has a traditional feel to it. It's really nice. 8D And I really like Riv's hand for some reason. xD;; I think it's because of the sort of dark shading/outline around it. And the blue sky is love. <3
You made me want to haul ass back to Spain. D: Although it's not exactly summer over there yet... xD;;
I think you did a good job on blending the colors in the end =3 It may not be as saturated as you wanted (I was stalking SMS thread >D) but it turned out brighter and more colorful definitely I love all the textures you made, from the fabric of Bea's top to the scattering clouds
