Artist's Comments

Inspired, or rather, pushed, by ~kheleksul and the movie Une Longue Dimanche de Fiancailles, I drew Rivek as a World War I fighter pilot from one of those gritty pre-flight posing photos. I've been mearning to do this for awhile. I think, in any modern setting, Rivek would be some sort of pilot or plane mechanic. Not enough people draw subject matter from real history. This picture is virtually lineless, all tone, using the techniques I learned in art class. Happy birthday to me. :heart:

And, for the record, I didn't have to push you to draw pilot!Rivek. I just... repeatedly suggested that you should, and ... repeatedly shot down any other suggestions you had. >>!!!!
