And thank all of you who have come by my page for the 800 hits, 100 faves, and 15 watches (there numbers are rounded). Ah, I can't describe how I feel - it's great, though. Ah, I'm going to work harder now, try and live up to this ... title? recognition? XD What a great way to start up the new year!

Apologies to people I don't know well or people who don't have enough stuff in their gallery for me to discern what kind of partner they'd like - but I can't draw for you if I have no reference material, so if I get too many requests (I don't know how many I'll do), I may skip yours.

You guys familiar with my character, Aidan? Anyhow, the Roleplaying Board he was created for is back in action! If you like an excellent forum-based RP (seriously, Aidan's my only RP character who's lasted this long or become this integreal), check out Shards of Alesya based on the written work of ~Ravenfire, and illustrations by =meronine, and ~exdevlin. Seriously, really good RPers can end up with their characters in her series! Hell, even if you don't RP it's worth checking out. And the RP only just started, so it's a great point for people to jump in - and if you're confused, don't worry, I'll help you out. (It's also an easy way to get free art from me... I love drawing my SoA buddies chars.)

I lied when I said I'd have more art done by today. I didn't expect that I'd be hanging out with people this weekend - window-shopping with :devjinko-chan, buying Rukia fabric with :devsomtimesusually:, or just bumming about in CTown with others. That said, commissions are still open and they will close Feb 1.

Please note I am not available for extremely long term projects - including but not limited to entire card decks, comic books, and novel illustrations. Sculptures (maquettes) are also unavailable at this time - please do not request them.

These are school-semester commissions. That means, they will be completed at any time between January and May.
If you cannot wait that long, you can pay an additional 10-30% rush fee on your piece, inversely proportional to the number of weeks I have to complete it (ehr, sooner = higher cost).* Note that there's always a chance - especially if you order early - your commission will be completed in a more reasonable amount of time.

*For the mathematically inclined, the rush fee formula is (picture price)*((10 + (20-x))/100), where x is the number of weeks from Dec30 (the week of Dec 30-Jan 5 is week 0). and picture price is the total price for the commission (total price of piece = base price + add-ons like extra characters/backgrounds + shipping).

I have a job, and I go to an incredibly difficult school - I don't take commissions because I need the money to live or because I want to make spare cash in my spare time. I do it because I like making people happy with my art. I get happy when someone really likes something I've put hard work into. I like when people squeal because I've been able to capture on paper the figment of their imagination they could never get down. Unfortunately, certain things - like grades - are going to have to come before churning out a piece of paper for someone else's enjoyment. Take from this what you will - but ask me for a commission, take into consideration why I'm doing it - that you want, specifically, me to make you happy - and please be understanding when my other obligations arise. If you're still willing to order from me, willing to wait for me, I thank you.
