I've posted this a lot of places, but I'm looking for a roommate. I dont know if anyone here lives in SoCal, but Im my current lease ends in June/July
. Id really like to find someone to live with.
I am looking for 1-2 other people
to share a 2-3 BR
place in the Glendale/Burbank/Los Feliz
/etc area. The goal is to find somewhere $600-800/month
per person, but I want to find a person before I find the apartment. Girls, guys, gay, straight, etc doesnt matter.
I guess the main perk of living with me would be:
I have a steady job on a two-year contract, so Ill always make rent.
I am pretty clean and quiet and keep to my computer. I draw a lot.
I love cooking, and if you chip in for groceries, Ill be happy to make dinner.
I own a car and an elliptical, both of which you may use if you ask.
I dont have much furniture right now, but Ill buy the pieces for the public areas (ie - sofa, dining table).
I can go with you to artsy events, salsaa dancing, or out partying
anything, really. I love life variety. Unless its watching sports.
I am very open to having guests (or either sex) over, but if its over a month, then they chip in for rent. Free DreamWorks shit and studio visits!
Reblog if you can. <3 EDIT, 4.4.2010:
Did someone send me a note recently? Like, on 3/29? My inbox says I have a note, but when I go to read it, it shows everything has been read. EDIT, 4.4.2010:
Hey, just a heads up, I need a few beta-readers for Prince
. I am writing the short stories right now, and I want them looked at for language, themes, consistency, and well, likeability. I never went to school to be a writer, so I really don't know how well my stories idea go over with the general public. Since I intend to make a book out of these, I won't be posting these free, online, any time soon. So really, being a beta-reader is the only way to see them. Unless you want to wait a year.
I am also looking for a person or two who would be willing to help me flesh out Mondigan
. I am currently trying to spec out what happens in each chapter, so I can begin writing. Unfortunately, I am so haphazard and everywhere at once with this material because I see it from so many angles. I need someone to keep me on task in such a way that I can make a linear, comprehensible story. I intend to finally start writing a chapter a month in January 2013. This may or may not be posted free online (most likely free, with cheap downloads for Kindle and Nook).
I'll only take a handful for both projects, and I will likely favor people who have shown interest before. So please, comment here or shoot me a note. Please also have AIM, MSN, or GTalk. I do most of my work on a Wiki and on Google Docs.
In addition, I am having a COMMISSION SALE
to raise funds for theBoston Brain Tumor Ride
I have a friend who I love tons because he saved my life from a deep, emotional bind. He flew me to his place, and I had the best Thanksgiving vacation ever in my life. Two years ago, his father developed a brain tumor, and a hospital saved his. My friend, as well as his family, and especially his father, are absolutely wonderful people. I want to do what I can to give back, since I certainly wouldn't be where or who I am without what they did for me.
Therefore, 50% of every commission will be going to "Bike for Mike."
for base commission - a 6"x9", lineart, fullbody, pencil drawing.
This would be $15
for an extra character (up to two more per piece).
for a minimal background.
This would be $30
Multiply by 3X
This would be $45
: Free shipping!SUPERBONUS
: Buy two, get one free! (Of equal or lesser value.)
If you aren't interested in a commission, but you would like to donate, please go HERE: [link]
Yesterday, I signed my name for my first movie credit! ( Kung Fu Panda 2
, to be released May 26
.) And right after that, I signed a check for $2,700 and gave it to the DreamWorks HR Department. Yes, that's right. After the matching program -
We have raised $5,400
for Save the Children for Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief.
Go thank and congratulate these awesome folk who helped me out: THANK YOU SO MUCH! GO SEE KFP2!
(no, seriously - it's actually really good.)
